Chocolate Temptation Martini

1 ½ shots Cask & Cream Chocolate Temptation Liqueur

1 ½ shots Crème de Cacao

½ shot vodka (any flavor)

2 ½ shots half-and-half cream

Optional Ingredients:

Mint leaves for garnish

Chocolate bar for shavings

Chocolate syrup for decoration

Combine the above liquid ingredients into a shaker filled with cubed ice and shake. After shaken, the drink can be poured into a chilled martini glass. Chocolate syrup swirled in the glass and frosting the rim can be a fantastic addition for a richer chocolate taste. The drink can easily be dressed up with shaved chocolate on top and a mint leave added for garnish.

Variations of Vodka

The taste of a Chocolate Temptation Martini using chocolate liqueur manufactured from Cask & Cream can be changed relatively easy with the addition of different flavored vodka. While plain vodka can definitely be used as the ½ shot in the chocolate martini recipe, you can spice it up with different flavors. A chocolate peppermint martini can easily be made with the use of peppermint vodka. This makes an indulgent treat that I’ll definitely want to try out when the holidays arrive. A chocolate mint martini can be another fantastic drink with the addition of mint flavored vodka added to the drink.

The best thing about this chocolate martini recipe is that you can alter the flavor the drink with minimal effort. I found it very easy to customize the drink using different flavored vodka. Using this recipe as a base for a chocolate martini allows you to create a drink that meets all of your flavor desires. With this versatility, I can enjoy myself a chocolate martini with hints of whatever flavors I’m craving.

The taste of the Chocolate Temptation Martini is particularly sweet with a hint of whatever flavor you choose to add. The mixture of the drink creates a color resembling chocolate milk and the syrup swirls in the glass create some interest. The drink closely resembles a delicious chocolate dessert and makes a perfect treat to indulge in after a home cooked dinner with friends. The ability to change the flavor with a different ½ shot of vodka added makes this a delicious drink that I’ll be sure to come back to and make numerous times with a unique twist each time.

I recently wrote a review of "St-Germain Liqueur". Then I stumbled upon a delicious sounding cocktail which includes black-berry infused St-Germain. It was created by Bartender Jonathan Taylor from the restaurant Steak 954 in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Check out the recipe below.

Steak 954 Rio Mar

1 1 / 4 ounce black cherry bourbon
1 ounce blackberry-infused St. Germain
1 ounce lemon juice
Dash Angostura bitters
Ice
1 1 /2 to 2 ounces prosecco
3 St. Germain-infused blackberries

"How to make the drink: Put the bourbon, black-berry infused St. Germain, lemon juice and Angostura bitters into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled champagne flute. Add enough prosecco to fill the glass to about an inch from the top. Garnish by floating 3 infused blackberries on top of the drink. Makes 1 serving. — Tracey Broussard"

Found this recipe at the Sun Sentinel You can read about infusing the St-Germain and more in the source article.
